Classes and Workshops
The College offers a wide range of evening classes and full-day workshops to
cater for most Spirit-related areas of knowledge, including Spiritual Awareness
and Development, Meditation, Trance and Spiritual Healing. As we attempt to respond to demand, we often have to expand
our range of subjects — please see our ‘Events at the
College’ pages to obtain up to date information.
If you are interested in attending any of the educational opportunities on offer and would like some advice, our team of tutors will be pleased to discuss matters with you.
Talks and Special Events
Throughout the year the College runs a programme of evening Talks covering a
variety of subjects, most of which are related to or involve aspects of
Spiritualism. There are a
number of Special Demonstrations organised throughout the year which, in
addition to Clairvoyance, also cover Trance and Transfiguration.

Public Demonstrations of Evidence of Survival
At such Public Demonstrations, a Medium uses their awareness (commonly called Clairvoyance) of
those who have passed through Death to the Spirit World to provide evidence
that they truly continue to survive beyond this Physical World. This evidence may be through physical, personality and relationship descriptions, recalling of memories and information for which the Medium could have no prior knowledge. Some evidence may require subsequent confirmation from friends and relatives; however, this can show that a Medium does not read the minds of those present.
As these are public events, Mediums do not convey information that is of a very personal nature.It should also be noted that Mediums are rarely perfect channels, and every Public Demonstration should be considered as an experiment.
Public Demonstrations are held on: Wednesdays at 2.30pm and Friday at 7.30pm. Please see our Demonstrations of Evidence of Survival page for details of Visiting Mediums.
Private Sittings with Mediums
A privatesitting with a Medium is conducted on a confidential one-to-one basis. This privacy allows personal information to be given which would not be able to be given at a Public Demonstration,
allowing a much more in-depth consultation and improved evidence of survival after physical death.The Sitter is also able to ask questions of the Medium, and thus gain clarification of the
interpretation given. The sitting is recorded on audio tape for the sitter to take with them for future reference.
Private Sittings with the Visiting Medium are usually available on Wednesday afternoons and during the day on Thursdays and Fridays. Private Sittings with College Mediums are usually available on Tuesdays and on dates and times as announced.
The cost of a Private Sitting with a visiting Medium (including audio tape)is:
Members £18.00 (Concessions £16.00) / Non-members £20.00 (Concessions £18.00)
£10.00 deposit is required at time of booking.
Spiritual Healing
Both Members and Non Members are welcome — there is no need to make an appointment — just come along.
Absent healing is also available.
Spiritual Healing is the channelling of healing energies through a qualified healer to the client. It helps the recipient to relax and enables their own self-healing capability to become more effective and deal with illness or injury in the best possible way.
There are no side effects to this therapy and it is not offered as an alternative to orthodox medicine but is complementary to it. Those who are under medical care should always continue with the treatment their doctor has prescribed.
Although a cure cannot be guaranteed, it is unusual for Spiritual Healing not to be helpful in some way.

Thursdays 10.30am to 12 noon
Fridays 6.30pm to 7.15pm
Saturdays Monthly (See diary of events)
There is no charge for Spiritual Healing — however donations are welcome.
